Maria Uzor
Maria Uzor, formerly one half of the acclaimed post-punk dance duo Sink Ya Teeth, emerged from lockdown as a solo electronic artist with a distinct vision and sound that merges electro, trip-hop, dub, and proto-rave influences. Rooted in her Norfolk upbringing and dual cultural heritage, Uzor creates music that’s both otherworldly and grounded, gaining praise from luminaries like AMY LAME, Jamz Supernova, and The Quietus. Self-producing, directing, and even designing her own visuals, she has carved out a unique space in the music world, collaborating with artists such as CHK CHK CHK and A Certain Ratio, and building anticipation for her sophomore album due in 2025.
